    Five Major Problems In Shoemaking Industry Need To Be Solved

    The head of the Ministry of industry and information technology, 30, said that China's footwear industry urgently needs to solve five major problems: lack of influential international brands, low added value of export products, no international marketing network, independent innovation capability, and low level of information technology.

    The official said that although the national brands such as BELLE, Kangnai and AOKANG had strong influence in the domestic market, they still had a certain distance from the international brands.

    At the same time, the added value of export products is low, the quantity of export is large, but the price is low.

    At present, China's shoe making brand enterprises do not form an international marketing network. The layout of the international market is mainly "point", that is, the establishment of exclusive stores, while the number of stores is small, the information is not smooth, and the brand influence is limited.

    Lack of independent innovation ability, backward design concepts and means, lack of talents and insufficient capital investment are also urgent problems for China's footwear industry.

    In addition, the informationization of production process management is relatively low, and a large number of digital calculation, material accounting, cargo flow and capital exchanges are completed by manpower, resulting in low efficiency of shoemaking industry.

    It is understood that 80% of China's footwear industry relies on international consumption, which is an export-oriented industry.

    In 2007, there were more than 20 thousand shoe-making enterprises in China, and more than 350 employees were directly employed. Footwear production exceeded 10 billion 600 million pairs, accounting for more than 50% of the world's total output, and the volume of imports and exports reached US $24 billion 500 million.
