Qingdao Government Boosts Export Of Textile And Garment Enterprises

On the 27 day, the reporter learned from the Qingdao Council of trade promotion that the "Qingdao textile and garment export trade association and the accessories and accessories yarn procurement fair", sponsored by the China Council for the promotion of international trade, the Qingdao Municipal People's government, and the Qingdao Council for trade promotion, will be opened in from October 28 to 30, 2008 at the Qingdao International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

According to reports, Qingdao, as an export-oriented business intensive City, also feels the enormous pressure brought by the international financial turmoil on exports, especially the textile and garment industry. As one of the important industries in Qingdao, exports have declined sharply.

In order to cope with these adverse effects, Qingdao has held this exhibition to warm up the clothing sales of the island city.

It is understood that the exhibition is aimed at promoting the export of enterprises, promoting the upgrading of textile and garment industry and reducing the purchasing cost of enterprises.

The exhibition attracted nearly 600 overseas buyers and nearly 3000 domestic buyers.

It is learnt that, in order to help participants to achieve industrial upgrading as soon as possible, enhance their core competitiveness and participate in the international market capacity, the organizing committee will organize a series of lectures on textile quality control and field management on 28 th.

It mainly includes: Mr. Li Shuqing, Minister of quality of former Japanese factories, explains the relationship between site management, quality control and performance appraisal; Switzerland SGS will send senior lecturers to interpret the new textile regulations in Europe and America.
