Global Yarn Inventory Fell 1.7% In The First Quarter Of 2013
In the first quarter of 2013, global yarn production increased significantly compared with the previous quarter. Among them, output in Asia, North America and South America is higher, and European production has declined. The year-on-year year-on-year growth in yarn production also increased in Asia, South America and Europe, and North America's output fell sharply. Global yarn inventory remained basically unchanged in the first quarter of 2013, with low inventory in Europe and Asia and slightly higher stock in South America. Yarn inventory also increased year by year. In the first quarter of 2013, yarn orders in Europe and Brazil increased by quarter, but fell year-on-year.
Because of the decline in production in South America and Asia, and the decline in European output growth, the global fabric production decreased in the first quarter of 2013. Global fabric output has increased year by year, with output in Europe and Asia increasing and South American production declining. Compared with the previous quarter, global fabric inventories declined in the first quarter of this year, with stocks in South America and North America decreasing and stocks in Asia higher. The annual ratio of global fabric inventories is also reduced due to lower inventories in South America, North America and Europe, although Asian fabric stocks are higher. In the first quarter of 2013, Brazil's fabric orders grew, but European orders fell. Orders for South America and Europe decreased from year to year.
Yarn production in Asia and North America is expected to increase in the second quarter of 2013 compared with the first quarter, while South America is flat and Europe is falling. Over the same period, the output of fabrics in Asia and Europe will increase, and output in South America will be flat.
The yarn production in Asia and North America is expected to increase in the third quarter of 2013 compared with the first quarter. Over the same period, fabric production in Asia and Europe increased, and output in South America was flat.
Compared with the previous quarter, global yarn production increased by 21.7% in the first quarter of this year. Asia's output increased by 23.6%, especially in China, to 29.7%, while the yarn production in North America and South America increased by 5% and 3% respectively, while Europe's output decreased by 0.9%. Compared with the same period last year, global yarn production increased by 11.7% in the first quarter of this year, of which Asia increased by 13%, South America and Europe increased by 2.9% and 1.4% respectively, while North America decreased by 18.9%. Compared with the previous quarter, global fabric output fell by 8% in the first quarter of this year. Among them, the output of South America and Asia decreased by 11.9% and 8.6% respectively, while that of Europe increased by 3.2%. Compared with the first quarter of 2012, global fabric production increased by 5.3% in the first quarter of this year. Europe and Asia grew by 7.5% and 7.3% respectively.
Global yarn inventories fell 1.7% in the first quarter of 2013. Europe and Asia fell by 2.7% and 2% respectively, while inventories in South America increased by 0.3%. From year to year, yarn inventories in Asia, Europe and South America dropped by 1.5%, 0.3% and 0.2% respectively.
Compared with the previous quarter, global fabric inventories fell by 1.1% in the first quarter of this year. Among them, South America dropped by 9.6%, North America by 1.4%, Asia increased by 0.5%, and Europe was flat. From the year-on-year perspective, global fabric inventories fell by 2.9%. Among them, South America, North America and Europe decreased by 14.4%, 7.5% and 5.7% respectively, while Asia increased by 1.2%.
Yarn orders in Europe and Brazil increased in the first quarter of this year compared with the previous quarter. From year to year, yarn orders in Europe have increased by 16.2%, while in Brazil it has decreased by 17.6%.
Compared with the previous quarter, Brazil's textile orders increased by 17.9% in the first quarter of this year, while European orders dropped by 0.2%. Compared with the first quarter of 2012, fabric orders in Brazil and Europe decreased by 14% and 3.6% respectively.
