2013 "Huafu Cup China" Color Textile Fashion Design Competition
The preliminary of 2013 "Huafu Cup · China" Color Textile Fashion Design Competition was held in Beijing Jingyuan Art Center. As the theme of this contest, "new color spinning, new fashion" presented us with a feast full of fashion. This competition invited the country spin Li Binhong, Director of Product Development Center, famous in Taiwan designer Pan Yiliang, Beijing clothing Zou You, vice president of the College of Fashion Arts and Engineering, Yang Li, an international senior professional buyer, and Hui Wenlong, one of China's top ten fashion designers, served as judges. After careful evaluation of the works, there were 28 finalists' works. In addition to 25 finalists from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, there were three overseas players from the United States, Britain and Japan. After the experience and accumulation of three competitions, on the basis of previous competitions, this competition has added a comprehensive and professional training link for the finalists after the preliminary evaluation, making the "Huafu Cup? As the main judge of the competition, Pan Yiliang, a famous designer in Taiwan, said: "The whole process of screening entries was a difficult and exciting process. When we read the submitted works, we saw many excellent works. But it was a pity that we were screened out because we had no right way to grasp and understand the main theme of the competition. Therefore, the understanding of color spinning is very important, which is the source of competition creation. In order to enable the finalists to better understand the theme of the competition and improve their creative level, we will carry out systematic training and give constructive guidance. "
Li Binhong, director of the National Textile Product Development Center, summarized the competition criteria, and she said: "Our competitors should grasp the innovation and marketability of their works. If we can find a balance between these two aspects, it will be a relatively successful work. The competition held by Huafu reflects its distinct social responsibility. As a yarn manufacturer and developer, Huafu enables more designers to understand color textile products and apply them. Let color spinning products not only apply to T-shirts and underwear, but let color spinning have more expression in fashion. Another point is creativity. The standard of the competition is creativity. Our goal is to cultivate more excellent designers and let their creativity be brought into play. "
The cultivation of excellent designers requires the joint efforts of fashion art colleges and the whole society. One of the purposes of the Huafu Cup competition is to make one batch of excellent designers Fashion Designer Emergence, and close cooperation with colleges and universities to jointly complete the cultivation of new forces in China's garment industry. Zou You, vice president of the School of Fashion Arts and Engineering of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, gave some valuable suggestions on talent training. He said: "An excellent work needs to be evaluated comprehensively, including its renderings, designers' imagination, sensitivity to color and grasp of materials. At the same time, the design works should have a modern sense, be able to conform to the current fashion orientation, and not be out of touch with the times. In addition, the application of materials is also very important. This competition, thanks to the professional guidance of Huafu, can let our players get more growth in the application of materials. "

As a senior professional buyer, who has full control and sensitivity to the market, Yang Li said that "the market is an important standard to test a successful work. Many of the players are very creative and design hard, and have also achieved the purpose of innovation, but lack of market manipulation, which is only on paper in the end."
