Gongqing Chengxinglong Industrial Co., Ltd. is a down processing enterprise. The person in charge of the enterprise, Yu Longyou, told the reporter that from May to October last year, they purchased 30 to 50 tons of raw wool every month for processing. This year, because there is no raw wool and raw wool to receive, so far only 100000 tons of goods have been produced. "From Harbin in the north to Yunnan in the south, we went everywhere to buy, but we couldn't get them." Although customers all over the country came to order from them, they had to give priority to the old customers with the only inventory. At present, although the poultry market is slowly returning to normal, he is very worried about the situation this year. "There is a period for breeding. Hu Weibin, deputy general manager of Jiangxi Shenao Garment Co., Ltd., said that the cost of producing a down jacket would increase by more than 100 yuan based on the current price of down raw materials. It is a foregone conclusion that the price of down jacket on the market this winter will rise, but it is hard to predict whether the sales price of down jacket will rise with the increase of raw materials. Under the influence of various uncertain factors, blind production will bring great risks to enterprises. For this reason, they took a wait-and-see attitude and took a static brake. After digesting the down raw materials in stock last year, they did not easily purchase high priced raw materials, only purchased more than 1 ton of new down raw materials.

Gongqing City spin There are 310 garment enterprises with 13000 employees, including 39 textile and garment enterprises above designated size. Most enterprises do not have their own brands and rely on OEM for other brands to survive. Last year, Yaya Group produced more than 4.2 million pieces of down jackets, of which about 1.2 million were OEM by other local enterprises. Although the scale of Shenao Company is not large, there are more than 20 small factories that contract for it. So far this year, Shenao has only produced more than 50000 pieces of down jackets, less than one sixth of the output last year. The output of large enterprises is reduced, and small enterprises cannot receive orders. An insider said that more than half of the small factories in Gongqing City were difficult to survive and had to close. "For the down garment industry, this is a process of survival of the fittest, reshuffle, and the winner is the one who can sustain."

Some down garment enterprises with their own brands adjust their production plans in time to reduce the production of down products. Yaya Group no longer produces down quilts and other products that consume a large amount of down, and down clothing is also developing into fashion to reduce down content; At the same time, pay attention to the production of high-grade clothing, reduce the proportion of down in the total cost, change from winning in quantity to doing well, and win the market by improving the fabric, style and quality of products. While sticking to the down clothing position, Shenao Company has increased its design and research efforts and turned to the research, development and production of spring and autumn clothing.

Industry insiders pointed out that the lack of independent brands and low product grade is the bottleneck restricting the development of the down clothing industry in the Communist Youth City.
