Lin Jianyi, Secretary General of Nanhai shoe industry association, told reporters that under the influence of various factors, such as the rise of enterprise labor cost, material cost and RMB exchange rate appreciation, the profit of shoe industry enterprises is becoming thinner and thinner, and enterprises are facing great pressure.
In addition, important changes have taken place in the footwear export market. Europe has always been the most important export market of shoes industry in South China Sea. In recent years, the European debt crisis has depressed the whole European and American markets and reduced the orders of enterprises. In contrast, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Central Europe, Africa and other markets are still good.
Create a brand and increase domestic sales by 20%
The reporter learned that there are more than 1000 shoe enterprises in Nanhai, accounting for one tenth of the province's footwear industry. Nanhai's finished shoes are mainly medium and high-end men's shoes, which have been exported for about 80%. In recent years, due to the sluggish export market, Nanhai footwear industry has turned to develop domestic market. At present, the export proportion has been adjusted from 80% in the past to 60%.
In order to explore the domestic market, more and more shoe enterprises in Nanhai began to develop their own brands. In recent years, the overall level of Nanhai footwear industry has been greatly improved.
