American New Jersey 13 Year Old Chinese Girl Wins Gold Medal In Costume Design Competition

According to reports, the Scholastic Art and Writing Award, a highly credible young people's writing and painting competition in the United States, has announced the winning list of the last season. The 13 year old Chinese student, Jessalyn Lu, won the gold medal in costume design in the competition in the North Jersey region.

Law Jay is a student of grade eight in Marlboro Memorial Middle School. She has won many painting competitions in Xinzhou Prefecture. She has won the festival greeting card design competition jointly organized by world daily and Nestle, and the arbor day competition sponsored by the new state government environmental protection bureau. Recently, she won the international competition "the human race in the space" Youth Arts Competition (Humans in Space Youth Art Competition) art group champion.

Zhang Qi, Dean of the Academy of painting of Zhang Qi, said that the works of Lu Jie Xi were lively, lovely and creative.

Lu Jie Xi's mother introduced that Lu Jie Xi liked drawing from an early age, began painting classes at the age of seven, and won many prizes in the competition. Now, he is fascinated by the design and hopes to make fashion design and create his own brand in the future.

She said she was very interested in art activities, and painting was only part of her hobby. She also thanked the teachers at the Academy for guidance.

Zhang Qi said that the scale of the competition is huge. There are three major classes of students in grade 7-12, including Drawing, Panting and Design.
