As a national and international textile and clothing Expo, Haibo is the main purpose of promoting cross-strait industry docking and promoting economic and trade exchanges at home and abroad. Aiming at promoting the development of Shishi and even Fujian's textile and garment industry, it aims to continuously improve the scale of exhibition and expand the scale of exhibition, and every session has a new look and connotation.

In 1999, Haibo merged into the fashion design seminar of the famous fashion city and the design exhibition of three famous designers. From then on, the cultural connotation of the Expo went up year by year. The fashion design of the three costumes on the two sides of the Taiwan Strait has become a highlight of the Expo. So far, more than 20 famous fashion designers from mainland China, Hongkong and Taiwan, including Zhang Zhaoda, Hu Ya, Wu Haiyan, Qi Gang, Shi Xiyu and Cai Liyu, have published their works at the Expo.
Since 2002, Haibo has made new breakthroughs in the "cross-strait" characteristics. The Taiwan spinning and weaving Association, the knitted Association, the garment guild and the sweater association actively participated in hosting the Haibo conference and worked together to plan for the Haibo conference.
In December 2002, Shishi was awarded the title of "China leisure clothing city". In 2003, the Expo was first integrated into the theme of leisure and held a casual wear Expo.

In 2007 P, the national development and Reform Commission of the Haibo conference organized an economic and trade delegation composed of 38 state officials and representatives of trade and economic cooperation. Participants from South Korea and Vietnam came to promote it. Hongkong TDC continued to participate in the exhibition and set up a special hall; Shanghai's WTO, Italy, France, Japan, Korea and other multinational purchasing groups participated in the exhibition; more than 50 countries and regions attended the Expo.

The number of spectators entering the clothing city was 158 thousand, an increase of 21.54%, of which 16 thousand and 700 were professional visitors. International buyers from various countries and regions in Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa and other industrial clusters in the P group participated in the exhibition.

The thirteenth session of the Haibo Fair (P) in 2010 showed the latest products of the industrial chain of ready-made garments, textile fabrics, accessories and clothing machinery, with an exhibition scale of 45 thousand square meters. Among them, the clothing exhibition area was 8700 square meters, the fabric and accessories exhibition area was 6800 square meters, the clothing machinery exhibition area was 30 thousand square meters, the scale of exhibition in Taiwan was the most recent, the exhibition area reached 5680 square meters, and the four day extension reached a total turnover of 7 billion 813 million yuan, 16.58% more than that of the previous growth year.
The first Hercynian international fashion week also started sailing during the current Haibo conference. A total of 12 fashion designers and designers at home and abroad were held. The "Haixi fashion" award attracted more excellent brands and designers to compete. It became a new display platform for Chinese fashion brands and designers both at home and abroad.

< p > 2011, the 1 exhibition hall of the fourteenth main exhibition hall of the Haibo Exhibition Center is the clothing hall, with an exhibition area of 15000 square meters. There are Taiwan Pavilion, famous brand clothing exhibition area and children's wear exhibition area, fashion trend distribution area, fabric, accessories and casual pants exhibition area, information and creative exhibition area.
Hall 2 is a joint marketing center of Shishi famous brand clothing, with an exhibition area of 5000 square meters. 46 brands of Shishi 40 enterprises have been stationed, focusing on displaying the outstanding brand image of stone lion. After this Haibo conference, the name remittance is used as a designated window for administrative reception and tourism procurement, and it is open all year round.
Hall 3 is the mechanical Pavilion, located in the Shishi textile machinery professional market, with an exhibition area of 25000 square meters. A batch of new technology and technology equipment has become one of the highlights of this Expo.
The second Haixi international fashion week, held in 2011, carried out colorful activities including famous designers' joint exhibition, brand fashion trend publishing, academic design release, Haixi Fashion Awards, opening and closing ceremonies, etc., and held 11 fashion brands and designers' work releases, as well as dynamic special publication of fabrics, accessories and fashion colors.

This fashion week launched the first "Shishi Cup" National College Graduates' costume design competition, brand fashion trend release, college design release, Haixi Fashion Awards, opening and closing ceremonies and other exciting activities. It attracted many famous Fujian companies, as well as Taiwan and other regions of China and Italy, Germany and other countries, and held 15 special press conferences.
