Wenzhou "Electronic Eye" Focuses On Sewage Outlet Of Synthetic Leather Enterprise

A few days ago, from the environmental protection department of Longwan District, it was learned that the district will complete the construction of the video monitoring system for the waste water treatment facilities of 52 synthetic leather enterprises such as Wenzhou Junjun Leather Co., Ltd. by the end of June. At that time, there will be more than 100 "electronic eyes" staring at the sewage outfall of the enterprises, so as to ensure that the Tanghe River is cut off from the source.

Longwan district is the largest synthetic leather production base in the country. There are 84 existing synthetic leather enterprises, and the products occupy about 70% of the domestic market share.

However, due to the high level of aggregation, a large amount of waste gas, waste water and waste residue produced in the process of production has caused varying degrees of damage to the environment. Waste water has caused the river to turn black and smelly, and has become one of the important sources of pollution in Tanghe River.

In the new round of regulation of Tanghe River, the treatment of wastewater from the synthetic leather industry has been listed as one of the important renovation contents, requiring the industry to complete the single rectification of waste water before June 30th.

Up to now, all PU leather enterprises have built new waste water treatment facilities and adjusted their intake water to carry out clean sewage diversion and standardized discharge ports. The scheme of centralized cleaning and centralized treatment of synthetic leather slurry waste bins has been determined.

In order to ensure the operation of wastewater treatment facilities in enterprises, the environmental monitoring center of the area has installed "electronic eyes" to monitor the operation of environmental protection equipment, sewage treatment and discharge in 52 enterprises with waste water discharged by enterprises, and 24 hours.

Once the wastewater treatment facilities are abnormal, the environmental protection department will take effective measures in time to prevent pollution.
