    India (MSRaajKr.Anand) introduces the India synthetic leather industry, the development of India synthetic leather industry, the small and small India synthetic leather industry, mainly composed of seven synthetic leather enterprises, of which there are about seven dry production lines and 2 wet process lines, which are not even comparable to a domestic factory in terms of industrial scale or output.

    From the point of view of application, synthetic leather in India is mainly used in shoes, which accounts for more than 50%, mainly in casual shoes and labor insurance shoes. It is distributed in capital Delhi, Chennai, Calcutta and other places, but the sports shoes industry is not developed in India. Besides, bags are about 20%, and furniture leather is about 15% left and right, and the rest is about 20%.

    However, the synthetic leather industry in India has been developing slowly and steadily.

    Most of the domestic businesses in India are family run businesses.

    Our company is responsible for two of our brothers.

    For now, we should have done well.

    We only sell synthetic leather and are basically exported from China's synthetic leather manufacturers.

    Every month, we import about 50 containers from China. The total value of imported products is about 25 million US dollars, which may be equivalent to that of 6 manufacturers in China. More than 75% of them are ordinary PU leather, and 15% is super fiber synthetic leather. However, the super fiber leather is only a kind of super fiber leather for Wanhua, and other 5-10% leather or PVC leather.

    From the perspective of commodity value, super fiber accounts for 25%, and ordinary PU leather accounts for about 65-70%.

    With large inventory and wide sales prospects, we have been specializing in the sale of synthetic leather since around 2000, and now we have about 8 years of experience in distributing synthetic leather.

    We only have a store in Delhi, but we sell it all over the country. There are warehouses or distribution channels in the main application industries.

    Local salesmen contact local customers and meet customer needs within 1-2 days.

    Previously, we mainly sold synthetic leather products in China, but now we have two brands registered by ourselves, MicroTouch and ZWN (pictured), and OEM processing in China.

    Although our annual sales volume is considerable, in fact, our average stock accounts for about half of the total turnover, and we keep enough stocks in the main downstream industries such as shoes, bags, furniture and other industries in India. These risks are even greater than that of our manufacturers.

    Affected by the trend of China's synthetic leather industry, the market in India has not been so sensitive to the texture of synthetic leather as China, but in general, it is also changing and is deeply influenced by the trend of domestic fashion.

    For example, mirror leather is popular in China, and mirror leather is also popular in India.

    It's only a little delayed for one or two months.

    Every year, China's Shanghai International Leather Exhibition and Hongkong Asia Pacific Leather Exhibition will be visited. At other times, I will go to China every one or two months to see the new products and introduce to India market.

    In the 2-3 year, India may become an investment market for synthetic leather. We are all discussing this issue.

    But in fact, at present, it is not a good time to put into production of synthetic leather or resin projects in India. Because the raw materials such as resin and DMF solvent are hard to supply, the cost of importing from China and other countries is too high, and the technical strength is also limited, and the State regulations such as import tax are not conducive to the development of synthetic leather industry. So it is too early now. Maybe 2-3 years later, it will be an opportunity and there is still a long way to go.
