    However, due to the high crystallinity and orientation of ramie fiber, the fiber is straight, rough, elastic, low elongation, low elongation, poor spinnability, fabric wrinkling, and tough yarn and cloth surface. It is difficult to bend when it is stressed. This fiber feels strong itching when it contacts with skin.

    Especially when ramie fiber is not completely degumming, this itchy feeling is particularly obvious.

    The purpose of this experiment is to reduce the surface hairiness and improve the handle of ramie fabrics by cellulase finishing and applying a certain softening agent.


    Cellulase can cut off the beta - 1, 4 - glycosidic bonds in cellulose molecules and hydrolyze cellulose.

    When enzyme treatment, only the cellulose molecules on the surface of the fabric, especially the loose parts, are degraded, hydrolyzed and reduced, the fabric becomes smooth and clean, the handle is soft, and the pilling is improved. The cellulose molecules in the crystalline area are arranged orderly, the structure is compact, and cellulase can not enter the interior. Therefore, if the enzyme treatment is properly controlled, the strength loss can be adjusted in a reasonable range, and the wearing performance of the fabric is very small.

    The reduction rate increased, the handle softness, the fiber surface hairiness decreased, and the strength reduction rate increased significantly.

    For ramie fibers, the reduction is not more than 5%, and the strength reduction rate is not more than 15%, which ensures fabric quality.

    Therefore, the suitable treatment time of APL is 40 ~ 50min.

    The amount of enzyme used in this experiment is calculated on the weight of fabric, so the bath ratio is not considered.

    The agitation is carried out in the mechanism of color fastness test. The rotational speed is 40r/min, and the effect of stirring is not discussed.

    Because the cloth used in the experiment is not the same piece of boiling cloth, there is difference in the treatment effect.

    At the same time, there are differences between different groups of experiments, so the data are not consistent.


    The samples were treated with cellulase and softener, and the samples were treated with cellulase only. The sample three was treated with softener.

    The ramie fabric was treated with cellulase to achieve permanent softness and glossiness. It solved the problem that the softening agent was rough after washing several times.

    Cellulase activity is affected by enzyme dosage, pH value, temperature, time and so on. Therefore, these factors should be fully considered in processing, so that the fabric can obtain satisfactory handle and excellent wearability, and with the increase of processing conditions, the strength of fabric will greatly increase.

    The optimum process for treating ramie fabric with acidic cellulase APL is: enzyme dosage (OWF):0.5% temperature: 45 degree time: 30min bath ratio: 15: 1.

    After enzyme treatment, the fabric's wool effect is increased, the handle is soft, the texture is clear, and the drapability is improved.


    The shortcomings of this experiment are: non quality in the experiment.

    It may not show its best activity, and can be verified by measuring the activity of enzyme.

    It is not very scientific to characterize the crystallinity of fabric after enzyme treatment with an electronic strength machine. Moreover, the strength of fabric itself is uneven. It is more reasonable to measure the degree of polymerization of fabrics.
