A few days ago, in order to study the potential of green employment in Hunan, the research team of "green employment strategy research" jointly organized by the Ministry of human resources and social development and the Asian Development Bank set up an investigation team for Hunan.

After many years of development, Hunan's textile industry has gradually formed a relatively complete industrial system, which has made great contributions to the economic development and livelihood of the whole province.

In 2011, 469 Textile Enterprises above Designated Size completed industrial output value of 83 billion 533 million yuan, an increase of 32.7% over the same period last year, and realized an industrial added value of 22 billion 496 million yuan, up 12.6% over the same period last year.

Hunan's annual ramie planting area is about 500 thousand mu, and its output is about 80 thousand tons, accounting for 40% and 42% of the national total respectively, and ramie has good technology and strong flax spinning ability.

Hunan is adjacent to Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, forming a three-dimensional pportation hub with high development of land, water pportation and aviation.
