    In 2009 ~2011, the operating income of the company was 3 billion 763 million yuan, 3 billion 170 million yuan and 3 billion 396 million yuan respectively, and net profit was 916 million yuan, 809 million yuan and 646 million yuan respectively, declining year by year.


    Small commodities city admitted in its 2011 Annual report that at present, the company is facing three main pressures, one of which is the rapid upgrading of the new formats of e-commerce, chain distribution and other aspects in the commodity distribution channels, and the accelerated pace of the construction of the peripheral market constitutes a homogenization competition, which poses severe challenges to the Yiwu market.


    It is understood that at present, the purchase of Yiwu is based on entity operation, and merchants are free to operate virtual shops on the website and publish information about goods.

    The only fee item is a "good faith" call for merchants to purchase phone services at different prices, similar to Baidu's competitive bidding.


    The industry believes that the core resources of Yiwu are more than 70 thousand commodity shops in the small commodity city, which is an incomparable advantage of other electric providers. But the current profit model is its weakness. Whether Yiwu can break through in the fiercely competitive business area needs time to test.
