The output of major products of textile enterprises above designated size in Fujian Province also ranked top in the country, including 2061500 tons of chemical fiber, ranking third in the country; 1.8418 million tons of yarn, ranking fifth; Cloth 3.12 billion meters, ranking seventh; Printing and dyeing cloth is 3.912 billion meters, ranking fifth; 105600 tons of nonwovens, ranking fifth; 2.923 billion pieces of clothing, ranking fifth.

The Provincial Economic and Trade Commission said that at present, the textile industry cluster effect in Fujian Province has been significantly enhanced. From the perspective of the domestic market, in the process of economic transformation and upgrading, restricted by the labor environment and treatment, the structural shortage of labor in the textile industry is becoming increasingly serious, and the labor shortage in the eastern region is more obvious.

More than 8 enterprises with 10 billion yuan will be cultivated

Fujian Province proposes to give full play to the development foundation of Fujian textile industry and the comparative advantages of transportation, resources, economy, society and cultural conditions in key textile regions. Build 100 billion yuan industrial bases in Jinjiang, Shishi, Changle and other major textile and clothing production areas; At the same time, we will accelerate close cooperation and coordinated development with textile developed regions such as the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone, as well as cotton resource regions such as Xinjiang, and actively develop textile technology exchanges with Taiwan across the Straits, making Fujian's textile industry a world-class textile and clothing industry base. The concentration of the textile industry in the province has further improved, with more than 8 enterprises (groups) whose annual output value exceeded 10 billion yuan and more than 30 enterprises (groups) whose annual output value exceeded 5 billion yuan by the end of the 12th Five Year Plan period, and a number of specialized 'little giant' enterprises whose annual output value exceeded 1 billion yuan have grown."
