Su Baoyan: China International Fashion Week (China Fashion Week) is a comprehensive professional service platform for Chinese and foreign brands and designers to publish popular trends and fashion ideas. It is also a platform to promote the exchange and cooperation of Chinese and foreign fashion designers or brands. {page_break}
Interviewer: what are the criteria for importing foreign designers or brands?
Su Baoyan: foreign designers and brands participating in the China Fashion Week are usually recommended by the associations or government agencies of their countries. For example, the Japanese Fashion Association, the Korean Fashion Association, the French High Fashion Association or the French women's clothing association, the Italy Foreign Trade Commission, the Russian Fashion Week Organizing Committee and other overseas industries or government agencies have recommended their national fashion designers or fashion brands to the China Fashion Designers Association.
Whether it's domestic brand or international brand, China International Fashion Week Organizing Committee is the same. However, China International Fashion Week is different from the fashion events held in some places in China. Foreign designers and brands do not enjoy the financial support of fashion week organizers in venues, accommodation, reception and travel expenses.

Su Baoyan: foreign fashion designers come to China International Fashion week. Most of them want to show their design talents and product style through this platform, expand their popularity through media publicity, push their brands or products to the Chinese market, or seek opportunities for Chinese clothing enterprises to provide design consulting services. Such as French DANIELFARET, MARCELMARONGIU, Japanese Tayama Junro and other foreign designers, through the participation of China International Fashion Week, found a partner of Chinese garment enterprises to provide design services for Chinese brands.
Most foreign clothing or accessories brands want to join China International Fashion week to find partners in China and enter the Chinese market through direct import or brand licensing. As the most potential clothing market, many international brands are looking for opportunities to enter the Chinese market. Reporter: what do you think is the advantage of foreign designers in terms of professionalism compared with Chinese designers on the stage of China International Fashion week?
Su Baoyan: the international fashion industry, especially the European fashion industry, started early and has a mature and perfect system. Therefore, most of the European fashion designers released their works with strong sense of taste, distinctive style and overall coordination, while the average Chinese fashion designers will be slightly inferior in these aspects. But in recent years, Chinese fashion designers have become increasingly close in international exchanges, and many Chinese fashion designers have made rapid progress. On the stage of China International Fashion Week, the performance of many excellent fashion designers has attracted more and more attention from domestic and foreign counterparts. Especially in the Asian fashion designers' exchange activities, we often recommend Chinese fashion designers to be outstanding.
Reporter: what are the biggest difficulties encountered in the process of importing foreign designers to China International Fashion week? How to solve them?
Su Baoyan: in the process of overseas fashion designers or brands participating in the China International Fashion Week, there will be some business difficulties, such as the entry of clothing series. Usually, the association will send a letter to the Beijing customs and provide a guarantee to handle temporary import.
Most of the foreign brands participating in the China Fashion Week will have the desire to enter the Chinese market. However, the pattern of clothing distribution in the Chinese market has its own characteristics and differences compared with foreign countries. Paris, Milan, London, New York and other fashion week, there will be a lot of buyers shop (or many brand name shop) experienced buyers to see the conference and place orders, but the Chinese clothing market buyer shop (or multi brand shop) has not yet been developed. Therefore, it is difficult for foreign fashion designers or brands to get direct orders through our fashion week. They can only find suitable partners and find their own business models in China.

Su Baoyan: since the beginning of its founding, the Chinese Fashion Designers Association has attached great importance to the training of clothing technology. From correspondence courses to experts, face-to-face teaching has been conducted, especially for thirteen consecutive years, at least once a year (usually one month), Japan's founding expert, Professor Sasaki, who has made great contributions to the improvement and improvement of Chinese women's clothing technology. In recent years, many famous international brands have been producing and processing high-grade clothing products in China.
Clothing display, which started late in China's clothing industry, focuses on product display in recent years, but has made rapid progress. Many Chinese famous brand terminals display comparable with international brands. In order to improve the professional level of China's apparel industry in product display, the China Fashion Designers Association Training Center opened clothing in 2005.
