Today, the National Bureau of Statistics announced that the CPI of the whole country increased by 3.4% in April, down by 0.1%.

Clothing prices rose 3.6% over the same period, rising by 0.5%.

Among them, clothing prices rose 3.8%, up 0.5%, and footwear prices rose 2.8%, up 0.5%.

The price rise is basically the same as CPI in the same period last year, but the CPI is still showing a downward trend.

Analysis shows that consumers in spring and summer have different seasons.

In terms of main raw materials, cotton prices dropped to about 18500 yuan / ton from 27000 yuan / ton in the same period last year, down 31.5% compared with the same period last year. Cotton yarn prices (32 cotton yarns) dropped to 26500 yuan / ton from 37000 yuan / ton, down 28.4% compared with the same period last year. The raw material market has been greatly reduced by the economic situation at home and abroad. However, considering the increase in labor costs and the increasing pportation costs, the price of clothing has not gone down but increased last year.
