Recently, from the relevant meeting held by the footwear industry association of Chaozhou, Chaozhou has already submitted an application to Guangdong shoe manufacturers association and Guangdong Leather Association, naming Chaozhou as "the production base of craft shoes in Guangdong province".
In recent years, the production of craft shoes in Chaozhou has been developing vigorously, and now it has become the main base for the production and export of craft shoes in the province.
According to statistics, the whole city has more than 900 manufacturers of upper and lower reaches of footwear, and the output value is close to 5 billion yuan last year. Among them, 6 of the annual sales of Technology shoes enterprises exceed 100 million yuan, 16 of which exceed 50 million, and the products of many enterprises have been awarded the title of provincial brand products.
Moreover, the benefits of Chaozhou's craft shoe industry are also more obvious.
At present, the special industrial belt mainly based on Chaozhou urban area, economic development zone, Xiangqiao district and Chaoan County Dongfeng town has taken shape, and initially formed from raw materials, product development to production and sales, from machinery and equipment, matching molds to downstream inspection and packaging, export declaration chain of production, providing a good foundation for the construction of production base of craft shoes.
