In order to further strengthen economic and trade exchanges between China and Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries and promote the development of Chinese enterprises in the Central Asian market, the Ministry of Commerce, the the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region people's government and the Xinjiang production and Construction Corps will be held in Almaty, Kazakhstan, in May 2012.

In recent years, Kazakhstan's economic growth has been strong and has been criticized by foreign power as "the most economic growth power in Central Asia".

Because of its unique geographical location and good economic foundation, it has certain economic radiation to the Central Asian countries.

The Kazakhstan China Commodity exhibition has been held for 9 consecutive sessions, with a high profile in Central Asia and a large number of professional buyers in Central Asia.

The ninth Kazakhstan China Commodity Fair was successfully held in Almaty in May 2011.

The exhibition will be attended by 3000 professional businessmen, mainly from Central Asian countries such as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.

More than 250 enterprises in more than 10 provinces and autonomous regions such as Xinjiang, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Liaoning, Qinghai and Ningxia participated in the exhibition. The exhibits mainly include machinery, vehicles, agricultural machinery, hardware building materials, household goods, textile and clothing, consumer goods, and electronic products.

During the exhibition, the Chinese and foreign entrepreneurs' meeting, the Xinjiang production and Construction Corps, the Yili delegation of Xinjiang and the signing ceremony of the economic and trade cooperation project between Kazakhstan and Kazakhstan were held. Nearly 50 Chinese and foreign enterprises had face-to-face exchanges.

Through the exhibition, enterprises further understand the demand situation of Kazakhstan market, and enhance the confidence of developing the market of Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries.
