    Lin Jianlong: The National Sewing Machinery Industry Vocational Skills Competition is sponsored by the China Sewing Machinery Association (hereinafter referred to as the "Association") to implement the national spirit of working on vocational skills, further promote the process of training and optimizing professional skills in the industry, and meet the needs of economic and social development for skilled personnel in sewing machine assembly and maintenance, The China Light Industry Sewing Machinery Industry Vocational Skills Training and Appraisal Management Center and the National Sewing Equipment Industry Information Center with rich mechanic resources are the undertakers.


    Since 2009, China Sewing Machinery Association has organized and held two consecutive professional skills competitions in the sewing machinery industry nationwide (hereinafter referred to as "the competition"). The competition aims at "highlighting skills and selecting talents", takes the national professional qualification assessment system as the competition criteria, adheres to the practical application oriented competition, and focuses on the practical application ability of players. With the support and cooperation of the superior departments such as the China Light Industry Federation, the competition went smoothly and achieved remarkable results.


    Reporter: "The competition is progressing smoothly and has achieved remarkable results" is your summary of the previous two competitions. Can you give specific examples to introduce the influence and results of the competition?


    Lin Jianlong: The competition is organized in the form of regional trials and finals. The first competition was successfully held from April to September 2009. The first competition was held in five sub competition areas, including Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Beijing. The final of the competition was held in Shanghai and CISMA2009 at the same time in September of that year. Due to the full preparations made in advance, the holding of the competition has caused a positive response in the industry. The trials in the five sub contest areas attracted more than 500 contestants to register, and the personnel radiated to 18 provinces and cities, including Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui and Beijing. Through the competition, nearly 300 contestants obtained the intermediate skill professional qualification certificate, 50 contestants were selected as winners by the Association, the first three contestants also obtained the technician qualification, and were awarded the honorary title of "National Light Industry Professional and Technical Expert" by the China Light Industry Federation. Among them, the first contestant Chang Cheng was also selected as "National Technical Expert" by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China And become the first employee in our industry to win this honor.


    On the basis of the first competition, the China Sewing Machinery Association held the second competition from April 2010 to September 2011 with the organization and personnel of the first competition. The second competition has made some innovations in its organization and operation mode. The competition has eight sub competition areas, including Hubei, Henan and Jiangsu. The final was held during the Shanghai CISMA2011 exhibition in September 2011. The second competition was also successful and smooth, with its scale and influence comprehensively surpassing that of the previous one. It has attracted nearly 2000 practitioners to take part in the examination and training, and more than 1200 contestants have signed up for the competition, radiating more than 20 provinces and cities. Through the competition, more than 560 players were qualified to apply for professional qualification certificates at all levels, and a group of high-level professional and technical talents, mainly senior workers and technicians, were also produced, which has better optimized the industrial skilled talent team.


    Through the efforts of two sessions of the competition, the competition has gradually matured, becoming one of the main means for the Association to promote the training and optimization of professional talents in the industry, as well as one of the best works in the sewing machinery industry in China, which has been recognized by the superior competent department. Through the holding of the competition, the Association has played an increasingly important role and influence in the cultivation of skilled talents in the industry. The competition has also played a very good incentive role in learning technology, studying business and comprehensively improving job skills for industry employees; The holding of the competition also broadened the talent channels for employees in the industry, selected a number of high-quality skilled talents for the industry, and effectively promoted the construction of the industry's highly skilled talent team.

    Lin Jianlong: To sum up, we believe that the success of the competition mainly includes the following points:


    First of all, the event organization is set reasonably. In order to give better play to the role and influence of the competition, the China Sewing Machinery Association has adopted the "four directions and three schools" model in the organization of the competition, that is, the China Sewing Machinery Association as the host, the main station and the information center as the undertaker, the standard company as the exclusive sponsor, and the China Light Industry Vocational Skills Appraisal and Guidance Center as the supporting unit. In order to better play the role of the sponsor enterprise standard company, the Association has clearly positioned its role. In addition to providing funds and material support for the competition, the standard company also needs to cooperate with the organizing committee in enrollment and publicity activities.


    In addition, the Association also actively invited the local clothing associations of the sub competition areas to participate in the organization and promotion of the event as co organizers or support units. The co sponsors and support units are not fixed, but vary according to different regions. Facts have proved that the organizational structure of the vocational skills contest is reasonable, and the local cooperation units have also played a good role in the organization and promotion of the contest.


    Secondly, the internal division of responsibilities is clear. In terms of task division, in order to give better play to the respective advantages of the event organizers, the Association has clearly confirmed the internal division of labor. The "four parties" division of labor is: the sponsor association is in charge of the overall planning and management of the event, and assists in the promotion of the event; As an independent main body, the host station is in charge of the optimization design of the event and competition system, as well as the evaluation and supervision of the event, and is fully responsible for the technology and quality of the event; As another organizer, the Information Center focuses on giving play to its own advantages in event publicity and student source organization; The Standard Company is mainly responsible for the logistics and technical support of the event, and also assists in the publicity and promotion of the event.     Finally, I think the design of the event system is more scientific. In view of the demand for professional and high-quality development of the competition, the Association has also carefully designed the competition system of the competition. According to the competition system, the competition process in the competition area is still divided into three stages: theoretical testing, fault diagnosis and machine disassembly. The overall difficulty of the test item refers to the difficulty of national vocational qualification advanced skill assessment. At the same time, considering that the contestants are not suitable for the competition, the test questions should be set in line with the actual working conditions of the contestants as far as possible. For example, the skill test fault judgment link focuses on the assessment of the contestants' analytical ability and comprehensive experience. Only the contestants need to write down the fault phenomenon, determine the cause of the fault, and get the adjustment method without actual operation. In the process of machine disassembly and assembly, in order to ensure the normal level of the players, the limited non limited time mode is adopted. If the players fail to complete the competition within the limited time, they can continue the competition within an additional 10 minutes, and 1 point of the total score will be deducted for each use of the additional time.


    In order to reflect the comprehensive ability of the players as much as possible, the Association will try to select the common models and models of the players in the competition, such as flat, bag, and stretch sewing machines and common special sewing machines; In addition, in order to strengthen the control of the competition process, one referee, four judges and one supervisor shall be appointed in strict accordance with the number of judges required by the national professional standards; At the same time, the rules of players and staff have been improved. Therefore, I think the Association should unswervingly continue to hold the skills competition in a sustainable and healthy way, and continue to optimize it to form a good long-term mechanism. For this reason, the competition also needs to increase guidance and publicity, and optimize the competition organization environment; Strengthen the combination of skill training and skill contest to improve the overall quality of employees in the industry; Optimize the form of the competition and improve the system of the competition; Discuss the new mode of event organization and improve the system of events.
