Identification Method Of India OPTEX Cooperative Social Education Citizen Silk Sari
The cooperative operator of the handloom knitting machine in Tamil Nadu, called OPTEX cooperative, is planning to enhance public awareness of Silk Sari quality.
C Umashankar, general manager of OPTEX cooperatives, said it is necessary for the public to recognize the fake Silk Sari sold by many private shops.
He said that these private stores sell disqualified sari, and counterfeit brand silk sari deceives consumers.
He revealed that all silk yarn except silk must contain 56% silver Zari (see post annotated) and 0.6% gold.
