Yesterday morning, the Jinjiang national sports industry base awarding ceremony was held ceremoniously. Jinjiang became the third Chinese city to win the honor after Shenzhen and Chengdu.

Wang Jun, deputy director of the State General Administration of sports, said at the ceremony that Jinjiang has a solid economic foundation, well-developed sports industry, superior policy environment, outstanding cultural and geographical advantages, and good conditions for the development of the sports industry.

After more than ten years of development, Jinjiang has gradually developed into a sports industry gathering area with the core of sporting goods manufacturing and sales, a large scale of brand enterprises, and a distinct sports industry.

Jinjiang's idea of promoting sports service industry with the sporting goods industry and building a modern sports city has a good demonstration and reference significance for the development of sports industry and sports industry in China.

In recent three years, Jinjiang has sponsored 890 million sports events and 131 million yuan sponsorship of the national sports team.

Sports facilities in Jinjiang are improving and mass sports are developing vigorously.

The per capita sports area of the city is 2.41 square meters, and sports consumption accounts for 1.8% of the annual income of the family.
