Pakistan And Turkey Will Sign Preferential Trade Agreements Next Year.
According to Pakistan news reports, Murat M Onart, a counselor of the Turkey Embassy in Pakistan, said at a meeting with the Karachi chamber of Commerce and industry in 2012 that Pakistan and Turkistan would complete negotiations on preferential trade agreements (PTA) in 2012. If the agreement is signed, the bilateral trade volume will rise from the current US $900 million to US $2 billion.
