South Korea Agrees To Help Ethiopia Develop Textile And Leather Industry
South Korea's presidential office said President Lee Myung-bak agreed on Monday to share South Korea's development experience.

The agreement was signed during the visit of Ethiopia Prime Minister Meles (Meles Zenawi) to Seoul.

This is the second summit between Lee Myung-bak and Meles. In July this year, when Lee visited the African country, he held the first summit.
Ethiopia has always been the centre of Seoul's efforts to shift its know-how to Africa.
South Korea's official development assistance to Ethiopia increased from US $4 million 160 thousand in 2009 to US $10 million 320 thousand last year, helping African countries to formulate "green growth" economic development plan.
