Hongkong Census And Statistics Department Announced That Retail Sales Of Clothing In Hongkong Increased By 23.6% In August.
The census and Statistics Department of Hongkong announced in October 3rd that the total retail sales value in August was 34 billion 300 million yuan, up 29% annually.
After deducting the price fluctuation, the total sales volume increased by 20.7%.

The total volume of retail sales increased by 3.5%.
The number of sales of miscellaneous consumer durables increased the most in the month, with an annual increase of 69.3%.
Sales of furniture and fixtures fell by 1.8%.
Other categories recorded include electrical and photographic equipment (53.7%), jewellery, watches and clocks and precious gifts (33.6%).
