    On the 20th anniversary celebration of the Zegna brand on Thursday, the brand director talked about the challenges and opportunities that Zegna encountered in the Chinese market and focused on the positive points.

    But their optimism is also justified. As one of the top 5 luxury brands in the Chinese market, Zegna's sales in the Chinese market have surpassed American market sales last year.


    Gildo Zegna, the brand director, said: "we are just a men's wear brand, and it is very good to achieve this achievement. I think our success mainly comes from our pioneering spirit."


    Zegna entered the Chinese market in 1991. Currently, there are 75 stores in 32 cities in China. It is expected that the number of shops will grow to 80 at the end of the year, and it is also ready to open stores in four categories of cities in China.


    Of course, the competition pressure from other men's clothing brands is also not small. Zegna brand plans to set up a new concept global store and launch limited edition single products.


    Last year, the net income of Ermenegildo Zegna brand reached US $79200000, far exceeding US $24000000 in 2009.

    The Asian market grew by 46%, and the growth in the Chinese market alone was 30%.
