There Is A New Regulation For Textile And Clothing Exported To Taiwan &Nbsp; Xiaoshan Clothing Enterprises Need To Pay Attention.

Regional production, sale or importation of textile products of different categories in Taiwan shall be subject to compulsory inspection system.
The staff of the entry-exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau reminded me to pay attention to all kinds of export textile and garment enterprises in the region, grasp the standards in time, strictly control the quality and avoid unnecessary economic losses.
The standard Inspection Bureau of the Ministry of economic affairs of Taiwan (BSMI) started production in two times.

The clothing and accessories of infants and young children (less than 24 months old or below 86cm) were executed on July 1, 2011, while towels, sweaters, garments, swimsuits, underwear, socks and bedding were executed on January 1, 2012.
After the implementation of this system, the textiles exported to Taiwan must meet a number of requirements to enter the Taiwan market through compulsory inspection system, including compliance with the CNS15290 textile safety code (General requirements), and commercial inspection labels on products, tag or other packaging materials.
The main test items of CNS15290 include free formaldehyde, AZO, lead content, cadmium content and organotin compounds.
In addition, the Taiwan authorities banned retailers from selling textiles without inspection labels.
The district inspection and Quarantine Bureau reminds enterprises that one should understand and master this system and relevant inspection standards in a timely manner; two, strengthen the procurement and management of raw and auxiliary materials, establish strict product qualification guarantee and traceability system; three, further strengthen the control requirements for the internal quality of products, enhance the ability of self-examination and self-control, and avoid being subjected to inconsistent requirements.
