The New Oriental TOEFL teacher, project manager, GQ marketing department, sales department, creative director of Allen Xie, a self made menswear custom brand, made many surprising changes in Xie Siyu's role.
Can you imagine a New Oriental TOEFL teacher who has become a fashion designer? Xie Siyu did it. The young man born in 1985 is approaching his dream step by step.
Xie Siyu, who was born in Wuhan, went to America with his parents from childhood. Influenced by American culture, he revealed a kind of free and easy personality. He never loved to dress up when he was young. At the age of 12, he had the first T-shirt designed by himself. After returning to middle school, he went to law school of University of Sheffield. During the university period, Xie Siyu devoted almost all his financial resources and energy to the research of high fashion. He was determined to create his own top men's clothing brand out of his frenzied and unique views on fashion.
After graduating in 2007, he did not return home directly, but chose to sell in Gucci and Vivienne Westwood stores in London. After returning home, he first worked as a TOEFL teacher in New Oriental, and then became a project manager, managing a team of more than 20 teachers and 500 students. Later, he entered the marketing department and sales department of fashion magazine "GQ", and really entered the fashion circle. In May 2010, Xie Siyu officially left GQ and devoted herself to the operation of the self created brand Allen Xie.

When asked how the customers found the studio hidden in high-rise apartment buildings, Xie Siyu immediately said excitedly, "micro-blog!" Xie Siyu's favorite movie is The Aviator. He laughed and said, "like Howard Hughes in Leonardo, I am a paranoid fashion fanatic. I hope that I am not only a designer, but also a manager who knows how to design fashion.
