Li Yifang: since the beginning of last year, the Greenpeace survey has lasted for more than a year. The main purpose is to reveal the problem of the use and emission of toxic and harmful substances in the textile industry, to press the international and domestic brands, and to eliminate this poisonous and harmful chemicals from products and shopping chains.

Li Yifang: mainly found that international, domestic brands, Nike, Adidas and China Lining suppliers are emitting toxic and harmful chemicals, polluting China's rivers, which universally recognized environmental hormones. People will not be very familiar with the name of environmental hormone. Recently, there are many news reports, plasticizers, bottles containing bisphenol A, such substances will affect the reproductive system, biological sexual development, one of these substances has a certain impact on the high rate of cancer of the population, and can also accumulate in the organism.

When a fish comes into contact with this substance, the big fish eats the little fish again, and then the big fish is eaten by the man. This substance will accumulate higher and higher in the human body. Last year, Greenpeace tested the wild fish in the Changjiang River, and found that two kinds of fish that people eat often contained the same substance as this test, so we thought the only safe thing is not to discharge.

Li Yifang: in developed countries, we do not use such substances from the source. One of the substances in our country is called NP. It is a recognized environmental hormone. At the beginning of this year, China has just listed it in the list of toxic chemicals that strictly restrict exports. But it only restricts import and export, and has not yet had time to limit domestic use and emissions. We believe that this is indeed a common problem in the whole industry. These two suppliers are only the tip of the iceberg.

Green Peace questioned: PSOA detection value is high, but no toxic and harmful substances detected.

Li Yifang mentioned two suppliers, which supply these 14 brands of clothing. One is the YOUNGOR textile industrial city located in the Yangtze River Delta and the other is Zhongshan Guotai dyeing and finishing Co., Ltd. in the Pearl River Delta.

After the release of the report, YOUNGOR textile industrial city issued a public statement at the first time, indicating that the company's sewage discharge is in line with international standards and national standards. In response, Li Fang made an exclusive response to this statement through the voice of China.

Li Yifang: YOUNGOR's reply, first of all, it is in line with Chinese standards. We did not mention in the report that they violated Chinese laws, so I think this reply is not related to our report.

Second, he said that it is in line with international standards and is the label of product ecology in the world. We now say that they use and discharge into the rivers and lakes of our country. There is not much connection between these two points.

Third, they asked the SPS company to test them again. There was no toxic and harmful substances in the test results. I doubt it, because YOUNGOR had given us that test before, and the value of PSOA was even higher than that detected in the green peace report. I don't know why YOUNGOR group finally responded that they did not detect toxic and harmful substances.

Metersbonwe responded: need further communication with suppliers

The early Greenpeace organization had known this to us, but we asked the company at that time. Maybe they also provided relevant information to us. We also gave feedback to Greenpeace.

Lining responded: suppliers to provide test reports that discharge qualified

The "company" mentioned in Cai Minxu's mouth refers to the supplier: Nakayama Kunitai dyeing and finishing Co., Ltd. This is confirmed after our interview with Zhang Xiaoyan, director of the Li Ning Co and the director of external public affairs.

Zhang Xiaoyan: we saw a report on the Greenpeace official website yesterday. There are two fabric production enterprises, one of which is called Nakayama Kunitai. In fact, it is one of Lining's knitted fabric suppliers. We immediately informed Zhongshan Guotai about this situation. They issued a test report by the local environmental protection department inspection station, and the emission was qualified. The Li Ning Co has always had a very high access mechanism for Lining suppliers, and has consistently requested them to abide by China's environmental laws and regulations.

Zhongshan Guotai responds: Greenpeace mistaken detection sampling port

The two suppliers seem to be somewhat more mysterious than YOUNGOR's textile industrial city, which is very responsive to YOUNGOR. At 11:30 last night, Nakayama Kunitai, deputy general manager Chen Xin finally accepted the exclusive interview with the editor in charge of Xiao Yuan. Through the voice of China, he gave three responses.

Chen Xin: in June 16th, the other side had sent a simple email to inform us that the sewage outfall detected toxic and harmful substances. We reported the situation to the Environmental Protection Bureau of Zhongshan for the first time. After the detailed understanding of the EPA, it was felt that this index was not the scope of the environmental protection department in China. We communicated with the Greenpeace organization and asked them to provide detailed information. After understanding, they were mistaken in the sampling port, and the test results were impossible. They felt it was unlikely to be mistaken. We sincerely asked them to come over and verify the information again, and they did not respond.

Second, we are the key environmental protection supervision enterprises. The Zhongshan Environmental Protection Bureau, the Guangdong provincial environmental protection department and the State Environmental Protection Administration can detect the operation of our environmental protection facilities. In June, we specially commissioned the Zhongshan environmental testing station to test the data of our sewage discharge and reached the emission standards required by Zhongshan EPA.

Third, a few years ago, we wanted to be Lining and other world famous brand products. We have already made requests with dye suppliers to ensure that we do not use toxic and harmful dyes and auxiliaries. All our customers have made a letter of guarantee.

In an interview with Chen Xin last night, the environmental protection department of Guangdong also came forward, saying that there was no unusual phenomenon of Zhongshan Cathay sewage discharge.
