The two major is art design, which is divided into four professional directions: graphic design, ring art design, multimedia image design and comprehensive drawing.

Academy of Fine Arts is in Tin Ka Ping Education College, Liaoning Normal University.

The teaching building is equipped with a series of modern teaching facilities such as skylight classroom, professional design room, creative studio, multimedia classroom, computer room, photographic laboratory, screen printing studio, clay sculpture pottery studio, periodicals library and reference room, art gallery and so on.

At the same time, it also has a professional basic teaching and research section and an oil painting teaching and research section.

Over the years, Academy of Fine Arts has been actively implementing the school running thought of "building a comprehensive teaching and research university with the characteristics of first-class, multidisciplinary development and outstanding teacher education". Academy of Fine Arts has a strong faculty, and there are 45 Teachers in the college. Among them, 8 are serving professors, 16 associate professors, 16 lecturers, 5 assistants, and a number of teachers have master's degree and doctorate degree.

College teachers graduated from the Central Academy of fine arts, Tsinghua Academy of fine arts, Chinese Academy of fine arts, Lu Xun Academy of fine arts, Tianjin Academy of fine arts and other well-known art institutions, and the introduction of returned students to teach.

In terms of professional research and creation, many teachers have published papers and published academic monograph in national key journals, and have won national, provincial and ministerial awards at many times.

All kinds of works created by teachers have been exhibited in national exhibitions, and won awards at the national and provincial levels. Many works have been collected by art galleries, and some of their works have also been exhibited abroad, with fruitful research results.

In the selection of state-level major theme art projects, the "Daqing people" of Professor Gu Gang of the Institute set up projects and obtained special funds.
