Dongli Japan Launches Underwear For Superfine Nylon Yarn

The textile manufacturer Dongli (Toray) has started to produce all the new superfine nylon yarn products for the production of socks and underwear. Toray claims that the fineness of the product is much smaller than that of other yarn products on the market.
Toray said the nylon filament, named Micromafin, is only 0.5dtex in size and is the finest single yarn in the world.
The challenges that need to be overcome in developing this product include
spinning
During the process, the average diameter of fiber diameter and the thermal decay were affected, and the spinning effect was affected.
The varieties of Micromafin are nylon 6 and nylon 66, and their fineness and branch number can be customized according to customer requirements. At present, the product has been shipped to large garment manufacturers.
The Dongli company has set its first year sales target of 25 tons, growing to 100 tons in the third year.
The product is mainly used in products with fine texture.

When Micromafin is used as processing wire, it has the characteristics of accumulating air, making it suitable for producing "light and warm products".
