On the day of the 5th day of the fifth month of the Chinese lunar calendar, Chinese and overseas Chinese in Thailand celebrate the coming of the Dragon Boat Festival in their own way.

Although not every Chinese knows exactly what day the Dragon Boat Festival is, but in some of the larger supermarkets on Chinatown in Thailand, it has been found for some time recently.
The dumplings in Thailand are large and small in size. The stuffing of zongzi is mainly glutinous rice and meat, which is similar to that of southern China's zongzi.
Here, during the traditional Chinese festivals, Confucius institutes and Confucius classes will organize some traditional cultural activities to spread Chinese culture and stimulate the interest of Thailand students in learning Chinese.
At the end of this year's Dragon Boat Festival, a celebration of Dragon Boat Festival was held in Confucius classroom of Peng Shiluo awakening school in northern Thailand. 640 students participated in the colorful activities, including "Dragon Boat Festival theme painting competition", "Dragon Boat Festival theme culture lecture", "Dragon Boat Dance - improvisation dance competition", "Dragon Boat Festival fun quiz" and zongzi activities.
People in charge of the wake up school said they hoped that through such an opportunity, students could learn more about Chinese culture and make them like China and enjoy learning Chinese.
In addition, the Confucius classroom at Nonthaburi Fu River middle school in central Thailand also launched a series of activities to enter the Dragon Boat Festival at the end of this year's Dragon Boat Festival. Teachers and parents of students in Confucius classroom taught students to pack dumplings, while the Dragon Boat Festival Photo Exhibition and the award-winning questions were held.
Teachers and students spent a happy Dragon Boat Festival together.
