After the signing of the investment and construction agreement, it marked the "western textile city" officially settled in Wanzhou.

The total investment of the project is 15 billion yuan, including 10 billion yuan for industrial projects and supporting construction, and 5 billion yuan for commercial and residential projects. All of them are funded by Shandong Ruyi group.

The project master plan covers an area of 3500 Mu and is located in the national economic and Technological Development Zone of Wanzhou.

"Western textile city" is located in the international first-class, integrating industry, commerce, brand, R & D, technology, sales, logistics, training and so on, forming the overall layout of the Ruyi textile and garment industry as the leader and attracting the well-known leading enterprises and small and medium enterprises and individual owners.

Upon completion, it will become a trading hub for textile, wholesale, retail, production, logistics and services in Sichuan, Shanxi, Hubei, Hunan and Guizhou. It will also attract around 1000 kilometers of textile industry to Wanzhou.

According to the agreement, the first 400 acres of industrial land will be put into operation before the end of August this year. After the actual start up, two phases and three phases of development and construction will be carried out, and will be put into operation in 2 years.

Textile City takes "one base, four centers" as the framework, namely textile and garment industry production base, technology research and development center, business center, logistics center and life service center.

The production base will accommodate 50 million meters of Ruyi textile fabrics, 10 million high-end shirts, 500 thousand spindles compact spinning, 10 million knitted casual wear and other production lines.

After the completion of these projects, the annual sales revenue can reach 50 billion yuan, and the tax on industrial projects will be about 1 billion yuan.

Solving 100 thousand person employment

In February this year, the municipal government made a special study and decided to build "western textile city" in Wanzhou. It supported and guided the labor intensive textile industry to concentrate on the layout of Wanzhou, and thoroughly solved the problem of resettlement and poverty alleviation in the Three Gorges Reservoir area.

At the same time, it is also intended to further implement the framework agreement on "counterpart support" signed between Chongqing and Shandong, and support Wanzhou to build Chongqing's second largest city.

After the completion and commissioning of all the projects in the Textile City, there will be 100 thousand jobs. Of them, 50 thousand will be resettlement, and 100 thousand will start business and 30 thousand small and medium-sized enterprises.
