A.F.Vandevorst show appreciation

A.F.Vandevorst 2008 autumn and winter

The two designers of the A.F.Vandevorst brand, Filip Arickx and An Vandevorst, met on their first day at the Royal College of Art in Antwerp in 1987.

In March 1998, they boarded the first launch of their A.F.Vandevorst brand in Paris.

10 years later, they welcomed 10th anniversary of their brands in Paris. After this show, they arranged a cocktail party to celebrate it.

The color of the entire show is evenly divided, and orange appears at the very beginning. It looks like the distant feeling in the opera house, the black A coat and the orange stockings, the simple coat and even the simple buttons.

The bubble cotton's coat is wrapped like a military bed. The colorful knitted long gown and thick scarf are the best explanations for autumn. The orange skirt has been dragged to the ground, luxuriant and elegant, with black shirt A skirt, and coloured long gown and T-Shir.

Filip Arickx and An Vandevorst have been pursuing their own style.

In the autumn of 09, they conceived a nomadic image of "wherever they are at home."

They explained that her style of dress was new and interesting, and integrated the multicultural folklore patterns of square, triangular and round fabrics into the Western contours.

To be more clear, this concept has a geometric shape of a woolen sleeping bag coat, and a silky skirt matching checkerboard or military uniform Yamakata Akimon's rabbit vest with green, gray and brown complementary colors.

What is more subtle is the military uniform windbreaker covered by the shoulders, and the towed long skirts with striking diamonds on the side.

In the field of familiarity, they have designed a jacket for deconstruction and splicing. The waistcoat is secured with metal bolts, with streamlined trousers or a drop skirt and legging.

The boots are long and thigh and have articulated joints on the knees. Trousers and legging are stuffed into the boot.

Except for black ones, all the Look appear to be monochromatic (light brown, wine red and purplish red).

The black shirt dress has an abstract blackboard print. The blackboard and cardboard are the twin themes of this season. The black cloak sweater is actually covered with chalk dust. When the models turn to the front of the T, the white powder will fall off the sweater.
