    McKinsey has a research conclusion for the mature low carbon technology: more than 1/3 of the 200 technologies that have been released are "negative costs", that is to say, the benefits of these technologies are greater than those invested.

    As for the specific energy conservation and emission reduction strategy, the key lies in strengthening the management of energy conservation and consumption reduction, insisting on the combination of advanced technology and elimination of backwardness, adhering to the combination of cleaner production and pollution control, and relying on scientific and technological progress to achieve energy conservation and consumption reduction.

    At present, the management methods of energy conservation and consumption reduction of textile and garment enterprises promoted by governments at various levels include:


    - developing and adopting new equipment, new processes and technologies that are conducive to energy conservation and environmental protection, promoting comprehensive utilization of resources, promoting cleaner production and conducting cleaner production auditing.

    Vigorously develop energy saving, high efficiency, continuous, automation, differentiation and green environmental protection textile machinery.


    - establishing and improving the responsibility assessment and incentive mechanism for energy conservation and consumption reduction, and formulating and implementing the standard of energy consumption per unit product.

    According to the basic production energy and auxiliary production energy, the management responsibility can be resolved. Special responsibility is required for refrigeration, heating, steam making, energy saving lighting, backwater utilization and sewage treatment.

    The key energy consuming unit shall be appointed as the responsible person in charge of energy management and establish a reporting system for the utilization of energy.

    We will vigorously promote the three level metering management of energy and water consumption, promote the use of reclaimed water and heat energy technology, improve energy utilization and achieve discharge by standards.


    In textile industrial clusters and industrial parks, we should actively promote cogeneration, central heating and centralized sewage treatment, encourage the comprehensive utilization of waste water cascade utilization and waste heat recovery, and reduce energy consumption.


    According to the calculation of relevant experts, based on the current technical equipment and management level, it is entirely possible for China's textile and garment industry to reduce water consumption and energy consumption by 10% to 15% by strengthening technological pformation and improving management.

    For the vast majority of garment enterprises, the low-carbon road is not easy, but not difficult.
