In October, import and export value was US $244 billion 810 million, an increase of 24% over the same period last year.

Of which, exports amounted to 135 billion 980 million US dollars, an increase of 22.9%, a 2.2 percentage point slower than last month, and imports of US $108 billion 830 million, an increase of 25.3%, an increase of 1.2 percentage points from last month.

In 1-10 months, the total value of imports and exports was US $2 trillion and 393 billion 410 million, an increase of 36.3%.

The scale of exports and imports also surpassed the level of last year's total, exports of US $1 trillion and 270 billion 590 million, an increase of 32.7%, imports of US $1 trillion and 122 billion 820 million, an increase of 40.5%, and a trade surplus of US $147 billion 770 million and a decrease of 6.7%.

In October 2010, export of textiles and garments was US $17 billion 800 million, an increase of 21.5% over the same period, a decrease of 11% over the same period.

Among them, textile exports amounted to 6 billion 290 million US dollars, an increase of 18.9% over the same period, a decrease of 7.6% compared to the same period, and clothing exports of US $11 billion 510 million, an increase of 23% over the same period last year and a decrease of 12.8% over the same period.

Garment exports grew faster than textile products for the first time since February.
