Up to July 20th, the total area of the main pests and diseases has reached 50 million 730 thousand acres (excluding fruit trees and vegetables), which has increased by 11 million 390 thousand mu times compared with last week, and will increase by an average of 15 million mu per week.

In order to effectively prevent diseases and insect pests, the province has set up 1058 base points for monitoring major pests and diseases in autumn crops, and has set up 176 demonstration sites for integrated prevention and control and professional control, with an area of 149 thousand and 800 mu, 411 sets of emergency prevention and control professional teams, and about 600000 acres of specialized prevention and control of major pests and diseases, such as armyworm and rice planthopper.
