The National Arbitration Commission and the textile and garment Federation (Sactwu) will jointly propose that they should be punished for crimes against manufacturers who do not implement the agreement of the committee, but the relevant people in the industry believe that the wage structure of the Arbitration Commission is not realistic.

According to the chairman of the committee, Ms. Deborah Arends, 385 companies in the country have seriously violated the regulations, of which 372 have been found to be unqualified.

These non compliant manufacturers will be forced to close the factory, but this will cause nearly 23000 jobs to drain.

Arends says many workers earn less than 100 a week.
