Expert Zhou Ping: USDA&Nbsp; American Cotton Spot (10.04-10.10)

According to the weekly report of the Department of agriculture of the US Department of agriculture, the average weekly price of cotton spot on, 01 may, 07 -10, fell 2.5 cents compared with last week.

As of Thursday (07 October 2010), basic quality cotton (color 41, leaf chip 4, fiber 34, micron value 35-36 and 43-49, strength 26.5-28.4, uniformity 81) the average weekly price in seven designated markets is 95.05 cents per pound. This week's average price was lower than last week's average price of 97.51 cents, but higher than last week's average price of 57.25 cents. The lowest price of Sunday's average price on Monday (October 04) is 93.45 cents, the highest point is 99.07 cents on Thursday (October 07).

As of the end of 07 October, the daily cotton spot market report Goods in stock The total turnover was 3919 packages, compared with 860 packets last week, and 2712 packets in the same week last year. In the same year, spot transactions totaled 10903 packages, compared with 94719 packets in the same week last year. Thursday's ICE New York cotton settlement price in December was 103.75 cents, compared with 101.92 cents last week.
