By creating a public service platform, encouraging enterprises in the base to establish design centers, proofing centers, exhibition centers and testing centers, etc., so as to enhance the ability of Shanghai's clothing and apparel industry in brand building, R & D, design, rapid proofing, testing and display, enhance the international competitiveness and innovation ability of the export of clothing and clothing in Shanghai, and speed up the construction of Shanghai's international trade center.
Textile and clothing are important traditional export commodities in Shanghai. Last year, Shanghai's textile and garment exports accounted for 10.76% of the total export volume of the city.
