The Kunming conference was held in Kunming.

Some industry associations, chambers of Commerce and enterprises from China and ASEAN countries have discussed the docking and division of labor after the opening of the market, and have made preliminary cooperation intentions in clothing, textile, machinery, agriculture, logistics and other industries, in order to further expand the broad international market and promote the rapid development of the entire regional economy.

The meeting also adopted the presidential statement of the Kunming Conference on China ASEAN industry cooperation, stressing that regional government departments, trade associations and enterprises can jointly promote the cooperation of the industry and build a platform for cooperation and development. At the same time, China and ASEAN trade associations can be established and improved through holding relevant meetings.

Trade and investment

Growth accelerated, economic integration deepened, enterprises and people benefited, and common development was achieved.

From 1 to August this year, bilateral trade volume reached US $185 billion 400 million, an increase of 47% over the same period last year. As of the end of June this year, the two sides accumulated a total investment of US $69 billion 400 million.
