Yesterday, the Ministry of industry and Commerce publicized the "138 standards of machinery, light industry, textile and packaging industry", which involved 10 new items in the production, manufacture, fabric and process of footwear.

According to relevant sources, the Ministry of industry and Commerce will also announce about 30 national standards related to footwear this month.

"Before the approval of the above standards is issued, further comments from all sectors of society are being issued. The deadline for public notice is September 29, 2010."

The Ministry of science and technology revealed.

At present, Chengdu is directly engaged in more than 1100 shoe-making enterprises with a certain scale.

There are more than 3000 supporting enterprises, employing more than 15 employees, and producing 140 million pairs of shoes annually. The export will reach US $1 billion this year.
