Competition In 2010 Challenges China'S Textile Industry

    2010/8/26 14:40:00 58

    Competition In Textile Industry

With the extension of the financial crisis, countries in order to protect their interests by adopting a new international

    Trade barrier

As a means of restricting the textile and clothing industry of the exporting countries, China, as a big exporter in the world today, has inevitably suffered considerable impact and influence.

In order to protect the domestic market, China's major export areas, such as Europe and the United States, have gradually increased the import threshold through legislation, making the export cost of China's textile enterprises substantially increased.

    Management

    dilemma

Many laws in Europe and the United States deal with environmental, human health, animal welfare and sustainable development issues, and impose strict restrictions on the use of chemicals.

Such as the European Union's "azo dye ban", "blue dye ban", "chemical registration, evaluation and licensing management method" (REACH directive), there are strict regulations on azo dyes, formaldehyde, nickel and cadmium in textile materials. In addition, Europe and the United States have long been technically monopolized because of their high level of science and technology. Under the name of protecting the environment, they have enacted strict mandatory technical restrictions through legislative means, all of which are based on the production and technical level of developed countries in Europe and the United States.

It will be difficult for Chinese enterprises to execute them.

China's textile exports have always been the main advantage of low prices. If we want to meet the standard requirements of developed countries, we must invest more money and manpower than developed countries to develop green products, and the testing equipment and reagents that meet these standards can not be fully produced in China, and need to import, which virtually increases the cost of products.

With the increase of export threshold and the increase of export cost, the profits of Chinese export enterprises are being eroded little by little, which seriously affects the international market share of China's textiles.

    Internal drive

    power

    Green barriers in China

    Textile and clothing

The impact of product export also provides strong impetus for China's textile and garment industry to seek technological progress.

The first is to promote the development and progress of China's textile and clothing technology.

Under the international financial crisis, the adoption of new and high technology to increase the added value of textiles is the best policy for enterprises to cope with the crisis. The development of innovation will bring new vitality to the textile and garment industry, and the national textile planning has also included the development of high-performance fibers and functional textiles.

It can be predicted that in the next few years, the main theme of sustainable development of textiles is the development of green functional textiles. China will become the world's largest functional textile production base and application market.

The two is to improve the construction of China's textile and clothing laws and standards system.

GB/T 18885-2002 eco textile technical requirements are the first national recommended standards for Eco textiles in China.

With reference to Oeko Tex 100 "2002 edition, the monitoring items and limit values are completely consistent with the 2002 edition of Oeko Tex100", reflecting the integration of China's eco textile standards with the international advanced standards.

HJ/T 307-2006 eco textile is China's environmental labeling product technical requirements.

These two standards are formulated according to Oeko-Tex 100, and the two standards are coexisting in China.

Moreover, the method standards of eco textile inspection items are all equivalent to the corresponding international standards, which make China's eco textile series standards conform to the international advanced standards.

    Breakout path

    Face

    Green barrier

Our enterprises should improve their R & D capability and promote the upgrading of their industrial structure.

In recent years, under the tide of advocating nature and advocating green consumption all over the world, ecological textiles and their consumption have become the consumption trend of international textiles and clothing, and they are also the new hot spot of international trade.

According to statistics, in many developed countries in the world, consumers are willing to purchase high-end ecological textiles with high price in terms of textile consumption. Therefore, textile and garment enterprises must make efforts to increase the added value of products and actively develop functional eco textile products instead of relying on quantity expansion in order to really benefit from the cancellation of quotas.

Enterprises should strengthen product quality testing to ensure that the quality of products meets the regulatory requirements of importing countries.

It is one of the most important reasons why many enterprises' products are blocked outside the export or recalled.

Because of the constraints of various testing items, difficult detection and expensive testing facilities, enterprises often can not build their own laboratories. Therefore, it is suggested that enterprises should conduct tests through professional testing organizations.

The professional testing organization has the advantages of advanced equipment, professional personnel, and timely updating of testing information.

For example, the monitoring contents of "Oeko Tex100 standard for ecological textiles conformity assessment" (2010) and the 30 high degree of concern substances set by the two batch of "REACH regulations" since October 2008, and the detection of 8 high degree of concern substances currently being sought by third batches are difficult problems for enterprises to solve.

It is very necessary to actively implement eco textile certification and environmental management system certification.

At present, all countries in the world are actively developing "eco label" products which are good for health and beneficial to environmental protection. "Eco label" is similar to China's environmental labeling certification. Many countries that implement ecological labels regard "eco label" as a non tariff barrier to prohibit the import of non "eco label" products.

Therefore, this requires our enterprises to use green materials, green equipment and green technology to produce, so that the entire production and operation activities of enterprises comply with the requirements of ISO14000 standards, and eliminate barriers and obstacles to the international market.

In view of this, eco textiles have been one of the best ways to deal with green barriers and expand international market share, and have become a new economic growth point in the textile industry.

In addition, we should use new technology and new technology to speed up the technological progress of textile enterprises.

In order to cope with increasingly fierce market competition and complex technical barriers, enterprises in China should widely apply new technology of small bath dyeing and finishing technology, and environmental friendly dyes, auxiliaries, slurry and so on, so as to realize cleaner production while saving energy and reducing consumption.

The new style fabrics should be developed by means of new spinning technology, such as cable spinning, compact spinning, and so on.

New environmentally friendly fibers are widely used to develop new functional fabrics that meet market demands.

Knitted fabrics should be developed and applied through new textile materials and technologies, so as to form new fabrics with independent intellectual property rights and market competitiveness.

To achieve the goal of sustainable development, we must achieve the goal of sustainable development by increasing the added value of products and by increasing the cost of investment and pformation of high performance equipment through scientific and rational technological parameter changes and strict process management.
