Sales in the clothing market declined slightly in 2009, and after a substantial growth in the first few months of 2010, it seems that the overall picture is good.
The report, entitled "retail of six functional clothing industries in the United States", presented by Textiles Intelligence, includes six items, such as sports apparel, outdoor activities, canoeing, running, scuba diving and snow sports. The report cited the data of Leisure Trends Group, pointing out that in the first half of 2009, the overall sports products showed excellent performance in retail sales in 2009.
