Clothing Waiver Inspection And Quarantine Costs Until The End Of The Year

According to the relevant decision of the Ministry of finance, the national development and Reform Commission and the State General Administration of quality supervision and quarantine, the inspection and quarantine authorities will continue to reduce or exemption the export and quarantine inspection fees for export agricultural products and textile and garment products, and the date of reduction will be until December 31, 2010.

It is understood that the inspection and quarantine institution will continue to reduce the entry exit inspection and quarantine fees for export agricultural products and textile and garment products listed in the entry and exit catalogue of the entry exit inspection and quarantine institutions. Among them, export and live animals, live poultry, aquatic animals and agricultural products exempt from inspection are totally exempt from entry exit inspection and quarantine charges; half of other export agricultural products are charged for entry exit inspection and quarantine; and textile and clothing products are charged for inspection and quarantine fees at 70% of the current collection standard.

The product categories that enjoy the fee waiver include live animals, animal products, plant products, animal and vegetable oils, fat and their decomposed products; food; beverages; wine and vinegar; tobacco; raw skins; textile and garment products. According to the inspection and Quarantine Bureau, in the 1~6 month of this year, the export trade of agricultural products and clothing enterprises enjoyed a reduction of 2 million 892 thousand yuan on this preferential policy. According to preliminary estimates, the second half of this year will save about 3 million 600 thousand yuan for enterprises.
