Turkey Launches Carbon Fiber Production Facility

The first plant to produce carbon fiber was put into operation in the province of northwest Asia's Turkey province.
Aksa Akrilik Kimya is a textile and technology fiber manufacturer, which is based on acrylic acid. It belongs to Akk K group. The company has launched the first carbon fiber production facility in history.
Because Al-aqsa (Aksa) invested in this factory, Turkey has become one of the 10 countries producing carbon fiber.
The company's market share in the international carbon fiber is 10%, and carbon fiber is an alternative product of the iron and steel industry.
As of today, only 9 countries and regions are producing.

Therefore, the company's goal is to capture 10% of the market share.
Omar Martin Chi Kirk, Minister of industry (MER Din k k k), said that Al-aqsa (Aksa) launched this facility to cooperate with the Turkey science and Technology Research Association (T BITAK) and the National Research Council and the technology innovation fund program (TEYDEB).
Martin Chi Kirk said that only a handful of manufacturers in 9 countries and regions are producing carbon fibers.
The company intends to apply their products to aerospace, automotive, defense, construction, shipping and wind energy equipment production.
China, Taiwan, Britain, France, Germany, Japan, the United States and Hungary are the other countries and regions that are producing carbon fibers.
