China Cup International Fashion Design Competition First Settled In Keqiao

Known as "the cradle of fashion designers", the China Cup International Costume design competition was first settled in Keqiao.

The China international fashion design competition, founded in 1995, is held annually by the Shanghai municipal government and the Shanghai International Fashion Culture Festival Organizing Committee. It is an international professional event. Its clothing categories include women's wear, men's wear, underwear and children's clothing.

This year is the sixteenth China International Fashion Design Competition. It is co hosted by the Shaoxing textile and apparel Designers Association and the China International Garment Design Competition Organizing Committee.

According to the person in charge of the Organizing Committee of the competition, over the past 15 years, the Chinese cup has selected and launched many excellent fashion designers such as Wu Haiyan, Wu Xuekai, Qi Gang, Zhang Jicheng, Ji Wen Bo and so on. Therefore, it enjoys the reputation of "cradle of costume designer" in the industry, and has become the most dynamic, influential and popular fashion design competition in China.

Every year, the participants are not only from domestic institutions and in-service designers, but also from Italy, France, the United States, Japan, Korea and other countries.

Chen Qimiao, executive vice president of the Shaoxing textile and Fashion Designers Association, who introduced the event, said that the event was held in Keqiao, which made many people in the industry look at it. This proves the influence of China's Textile City in the whole country and the world. I believe that the collision between this industry and fashion will bring immeasurable creative potential to Keqiao.

In order to prove that Keqiao has the ability to run the top event of the domestic fashion industry, the Shaoxing textile and apparel Designers Association has invested hundreds of thousands of yuan to purchase relevant equipment, and design and package the fashion publishing hall on the four floor of the clothing and apparel market, making it suitable for publishing the first class fashion show in China.

The sixteenth China international fashion design competition takes the theme of "Expo color" as the theme. After the first women's final, men's wear, underwear and children's wear will be held in mid October.

The winning entries will be shown in the Irish venues in World Expo, Shanghai, in late October.

At the beginning of the competition, it is also the day when the international textile and clothing creative week starts in Keqiao. Wang Changhong, Zhang Ling Li, Jin Hui and many other designers from our county will also hold a personal show.
