Xiamen Textile And Garment Industry Association Held Its Fifth Session

Recently, the fifth session of the Xiamen textile and garment trade association held a meeting in Xiamen Xiang Lu Hotel. The leaders of the municipal government, the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau, the General Chamber of Commerce, the Municipal Economic Development Bureau, the TDC, and nearly more than 200 members of the city participated in the meeting and elected a new leading group of the Council of the textile and clothing trade association of Xiamen city.

In the new Council, Zhou Shaoming, general manager of Fujian seven wolf industrial Limited by Share Ltd, was re elected as the president of the chamber of Commerce. Zhang Aimin, chairman of Xiamen Santa Fe apparel Co., Ltd., Deng Mushui, general manager of Xiamen yuan Bei Qi Clothing Co., Ltd., and a number of enterprise representatives were elected vice presidents, Wu Xiuhua as secretary general.

In the past three years, the Xiamen textile and garment industry association has made great achievements. Under the leadership of the chamber of Commerce and the joint efforts of members of various chambers of Commerce, professional training and external visits and exchanges have been carried out. Many good suggestions have been given to the government's industrial development.

The leaders of the meeting fully affirmed the work of the fourth council of the chamber of Commerce.

At the same time, they also placed great expectations on the development of the chamber of Commerce in the next three years. We hope that the Xiamen textile and garment industry association will further develop and become the leader of the industry.

It is worth mentioning that the Xiamen textile and Garment Association has an independent fashion designer branch, which brings together excellent fashion design institutes and workshops in Xiamen, as well as design elites from various colleges and universities.

Under the leadership of associate professor Liu Baofa, President of the fashion designer branch, they made great contributions to the fashion design and entrepreneurship industry in Xiamen.

In recent years, as more and more domestic first-class shoes and clothing brands have moved their headquarters to Xiamen Guanyin Shan International Business Center, Xiamen's textile and apparel industry chain has gradually extended to R & D, design and other aspects.

Xiamen's local garment company, Santa Fe, is a good representative of the pformation of the industrial chain. The brand jumped out of the quagmire of the commercial Mens with no characteristics and chose the products of high-end innovative design with rich Chinese elements and Tang style colors to win the favor of most middle-aged high-end people.

Saint David's "modern Chinese men's wear" has also become the designated dress of Shanghai World Expo Fujian and Xiamen Pavilion, endorsing modern Chinese fashion.

President Zhou Shaoming put forward: "the textile and garment industry is no longer a labor-intensive industry, but an innovative knowledge intensive industry."
