During the hot noon, many tourists did not dare to queue up at the gates of each exhibition hall, but to avoid the summer holidays under the shady Expo Axis or elevated trails.

The cooling function of the World Meteorological museum can be realized in two aspects. One is the cooling of the building itself, the other is the cooling of the tourist areas in the gymnasium. It has achieved better environmental protection and low carbon cooling effect. Therefore, standing in the World Meteorological Museum and the outdoor queuing area, it is obvious that the water mist brings cool and cool. Dozens of exhibition venues booking installation

The outdoor area of the Expo site using spray devices mainly includes viaducts, the entrance and exit of Expo Park, and the queuing passages of the exhibition halls.

It is understood that a total of 16 outdoor areas were equipped with spray devices, and the technology and installation of these facilities involved about four companies. Among them, the "fog doctor" built a 2/3 area.

According to Zhao Weisen, there were not many spray channels installed in the exhibition hall. Besides the World Meteorological Museum, there were Expo Park Pudong entry and exit, Expo Park, South Korean Pavilion, Zhejiang Pavilion, China Aviation Museum, Vanke hall, China private enterprise joint Hall, SAIC General Motors Pavilion and so on.

"After the summer, on the one hand, the weather became hot. At the same time, the organizers of World Expo and the exhibition hall gradually felt that the spray device could play a very good cooling effect, so more and more hot pavilions were added to the installation appointment."

Zhao Weisen said that at present, they have received dozens of installation projects for queuing channels in the exhibition hall. "We only have to work overtime overnight, all of our technicians and workers are put in, and we can install two to three pavilions every night."

According to the introduction, the spray device adopts a completely physical way, taking water as raw material, and does not generate two pollution at the same time. It is suitable for outdoor cooling and is in line with the concept of low carbon energy conservation and environmental protection advocated by the state.

Chen Jiangxi, the technician of the installation company, said that the cooling rate of the spray device was generally around 6 degrees Celsius, and the extreme cooling rate was 14 degrees Celsius.

"Because the negative ion content of man-made fog is 2000-5000 times that of ordinary city air, it can greatly enhance the comfort of human body."

Zhao Weisen compared the difference between the traditional fan and the spray device. "In the hot outdoor, it is very difficult for the fan to cool down, because the hot air is blowing out, and in terms of power consumption, the same area of the spray device compared with the fan, the power consumption is about 1/4 to 1/2 or so."
