The project of "continuous basalt fiber and its series products" undertaken by Zhejiang Shi Jin Basalt Fiber Co., Ltd. held a scientific and technological achievements appraisal conference in Hengdian, Zhejiang in May 6th. The appraisal committee member, composed of senior experts in the field of polymer materials, composite materials and Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences, highly appraised the project. He believed that the technology of the project was innovative and filled up the blank of continuous basalt fibers at home and abroad. The overall technology reached the international advanced level, and it was suggested that further research and application of production and application should be carried out according to market demand, and the scale of production should be continuously expanded.
