Tianjin Development Zone Has Become The National Trademark Strategy Implementation Demonstration Area.

Recently, in the national trademark strategy demonstration city (District) licensing teleconference, the Tianjin development zone was identified as the "national trademark strategy implementation demonstration area", and became the only national development zone designated by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce in the 53 national demonstration cities (districts) of trademark strategy implementation.

In 2008, the outline of the national intellectual property strategy promulgated by the State Council put forward that we should thoroughly carry out pilot projects and demonstrations of various intellectual property rights.

To this end, SAIC launched the national trademark strategy implementation demonstration city (zone) and demonstration enterprise in 2009.

The Tianjin Development Zone has actively declared the trademark strategy demonstration area, and has been improving its work in strict accordance with the requirements of the General Administration, serving the economic development as its mission and giving full play to its trademark management functions.

Up to now, there are more than 3300 registered trademarks in the Development Zone, with 68 well-known trademarks and 4 well-known trademarks.

The government and enterprises jointly and more than 30 times to fight against counterfeiting more than ten million yuan.

We must crack down on violations of the exclusive right to use registered trademarks in the area, and investigate 19 cases of trademark violations, with a value of 920 thousand yuan, effectively safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of trademark owners and consumers.

As a national trademark strategy demonstration city, the Tianjin Development Zone will enjoy training and exchange activities including trademark strategy implementation in the face of the demonstration cities (districts); support and help the demonstration cities (districts) export oriented enterprises to solve the problem of trademark being snatch abroad; establish a mechanism of information sharing, linkage and coordination between the model cities (districts) to crack down on trademark infringement administrative law enforcement, and give priority to it as a series of national support policies such as the trademark registration "online application" pilot unit and so on.
